Pure Design receives Miromar Design Center Award
ESTERO, FL – The interior design team at Pure Design has been named Miromar Design Center’s May 2012 Designer of Distinction. For seven years the firm’s principal designer Laura Parsons has been bringing their signature look of casual sophistication and relaxed elegance to Naples; the perfect combination for the Florida lifestyle.
“Miromar Design Center is a great selling tool. The showroom managers are extremely knowledgeable about style and design and always show the newest products. They are pleasant to do business with,” says Parsons. “It is a wonderful resource and such an impressive place to bring clients. We are able to obtain pricing quickly, which is a great help in the process.”
Each month Miromar Design Center recognizes the talents, loyalty and support of interior design professionals based upon nominations from the center’s 45 home décor stores. Designers are honored for their professionalism, creativity and commitment to the showroom partners. Henredon Interior Design Showroom manager Vivian Armenti says, “A great business partner is created when a showroom and a design firm have a synergy and support each other in our successes. It is this kind of partnership with Pure Design that enables us to meet their needs for home furnishings and in turn allows Pure Design to create projects that thrill their clients.”
According to Ellen Hopfinger, sales associate for Baker, “Laura possesses a strong ideal for design and embraces her clients with a distinctive design element while keeping the needs of her client’s in mind. Collectively, PureDesign a strong force for the Miromar Design Center and their Southwest Florida Clients.”
Pure Design owner Laura Parsons is originally from New England, and a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art. It was her passion for textiles, antiques and fine art that led her to interiors. “We love layering texture, such as wool or natural fiber area rugs over wide plank wood floors in shades of driftwood. Quality fabric is essential to the final outcome of the project and often times the inspiration for the design direction and color palette,” Parsons says. “I never compromise on quality; I would rather sell my client a product that I know will not disappoint than to sell something of less quality. If we don’t personally like it, we don’t propose it.”
