In our By the Pier project, we blurred the line between the living room and outdoor lounge by continuing soft, natural tones across both environments. We selected furnishings that look at home in a design magazine as they do under a lanai roof, with weather-resistant textiles that maintain their shape, color, and texture year-round.
By repeating materials—like whitewashed woods and breezy linen drapes—we created a visual thread that ties together the entire living experience. The result? A home that feels expansive, effortless, and incredibly connected to its environment.

In our Blue Bayou home, we selected natural quartzite countertops that echo the hues of the nearby Gulf while offering unmatched resilience. Custom cabinetry in rich wood tones brings warmth and grounding to the otherwise airy palette, proving that durability and elegance can coexist beautifully.
For flooring, wide plank white oak remains a favorite—it softens acoustics, holds up to Florida’s sandy toes, and develops a patina that only deepens its appeal over time.
